In August 2015, in cooperation with the South Dakota Department of Agriculture, SECOG began offering Ag Finance Counseling services to farmers and ranchers who are delinquent on their loans and requesting mediation with their lenders. It is estimated that Ag lenders spend 90% of their time on the 10-20% of their customers who are the most vulnerable. Those are the clients SECOG is able to assist with.
